FAQ
1Do i need a motorcycle license?
For our 50cc scooters you do NOT need any license, you need to be 16 years of age.
2How is the scooter insured?
Every scooter / motorcycle comes with a liability insurance as standard. If an accident occurs, a special service will take pictures of the accident. Then it will be assessed who is guilty, if you are not in fault it will of course cost you nothing and you will not lose any deposit. If you are found guilty, you are insured for damage to the other party, but not for damage to yourself and / or the scooter / motorcycle. A damage report will be drawn up and settled with the deposit, if the amount is higher than the deposit, it must be paid in full.
3How much is the deposit?
Our deposit on all vehicles is Xcg500,- and can be paid in cash, by debit card or credit card.
4How can we pay for the scooter?
We prefer you using maestro cards, cc is possible but there will be a surcharge. Mastercard costs us $26 extra and Visa $16. We have a mobile payment terminal with us when we bring the scooter.
5Where are we allowed to drive the scooter on the island?
We are the only scooter rental company that allows you to drive around the entire island without restrictions. The only rule with a petrol scooter is that if you go to the west side, you have to cool down the scooter every 20 minutes. Otherwise the engine will overheat and get stuck. As for electric scooters, you can go anywhere within the range of the scooter.
6What if the scooter breaks down?
If you have a problem with the scooter, call or whatsapp us on +59995255500. We will then ask you a number of questions and send a technician if necessary. This service is available 24/7.
7Are we allowed to go over the Julianabridge?
I have a saying: if you have the courage to cross it, then go and be free! I will say that it can be very windy and with a 50cc scooter it can be slow. Stay on the right and only go when there is little wind. We recommend taking the Emma Bridge on foot to cross to the Otrobanda side.
8More info about our electric scooter
Our electric scooters have a different range and top speed depending on the model. You will receive a charger with your scooter that you can use in any socket from 100 volts to 240 volts. You can even take the charger with you if necessary. With some models you can remove the battery from the scooter so that you can easily charge it in any space (Segway models). We provide clear specifications for each scooter on our “Scooters” page.
9What does a renting a scooter on Curacao cost?

10Do you also deliver the scooter?
No, that service is not included in our price as standard, unless you rent the scooter for more than 2 months, your start date is not on a weekend and your location is not more than 5 km from our head office. You can always ask for the option in the comments of your reservation.
11Can I also rent the scooters for 1 day?
No, in principle that is not possible.
12What is the difference between the Segway models?
The B110S is a smaller, easy 1-person scooter. Very suitable for short distances. Max speed 45 km/h. The E110S is a 2-person scooter that is basically delivered with 1 battery. This makes the range slightly smaller than the E125S, but in terms of comfort and storage space they are comparable. Max. speed 65 km/h. The E125S is the most luxurious model 2-person scooter. It is delivered with 2 batteries and has an ABS function, which provides extra safety when braking. Max. speed 55 km/h
